 Michael A. Ryan, CFP®

 
 Michael A. Ryan, CFP®  is  Vice President  of   The Valley Group, Inc. and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, professional. In addition, Michael is an Investment Advisor Representative and Registered Representative of Tower Square Securities, Inc. A 1986 graduate of Boston College, Michael received a Certificate of Financial Planning from Marist College and his CFP® certification from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards in 1999. He also holds life and health insurance licenses in several states.
 
Michael has advised clients on financial issues for more than 22 years. He enjoys helping clients navigate the often complex world of retirement planning, his area of concentration. Michael is willing to spend time with clients to help them understand the challenges and opportunities they face. He advises retirees and pre-retirees on various retirement income strategies that address their greatest concern:  running out of money.
 
Michael’s business philosophy can best be summed up as follows; “After consideration of all available information, I will recommend a course of action to clients that I would apply to myself if in the same situation.”
 
Michael is married and the proud parent of four children. He currently serves as the Vice President of the board of trustees of the Benedictine Hospital in Kingston, NY and is a Past President of the Ulster County Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. He has also served on the boards of numerous other civic organizations.
